| I found this thing on eBay
I Sniped the bid with a special bidding protocol. |
 |
| Next to it is a Standard Dell
Mid-Tower and a 21" Trinitron. |
 |
| It's a Phuking Monster
It's some type of older Enermax
File server case.
|
That 120mm in front is
an intake, the real 120mm fan is buried and off-set closer to the
mother-board, you can see part of it in front. |
| Another 120mm fan
resides in the back, well above the power supply.
10 bays in front, more hard-drive bays below. |
 |
| I've started taking it
apart and chasing away the dust bunnies. The
question is to go with a clean look or hang some stuff outside the case to
make it look like a "Machine"? |
 |
| I set fans (120mm x
38mm) on top to get an idea of what goes where.
I need to find a place for the radiator, reservoir and
pump.
Looks like I might off-set the radiator to be in
line with drive bays.
I'm planning my own reservoir.
It will be square, clear tubing, maybe twisted if I can
find a heat gun and some
weld-on #3. |

| Update:
Things are coming in.
- Pressure Gage for the water cooling system.
- Custom 120mm x 240mm radiator.
- Eheim 1250 Pump at over 316 Gallons per hour.
- PEX water fittings.
- Black Krylon Paint
|
|
| A CD
is exactly 120mm in diameter.
|
|
-
Big-ass
radiator, tank, PEX fittings,
Tygon
tubing.
-
It's coming together.
-
Next is case windows.
-
Now we are planning the
radiator and fan placement.
-
Fans are attached directly to
the top window, then the radiator goes in a clear acrylic shroud.

Danger Den's Outstanding H2O block is now in my sweating palms.
|
It has wheels too.
Which brings up some ideas for names
"Bitch on Wheels"
"FrankinBox"
ÜBER TOWER
ÙBER BOXZ
Needless to say, it will be painted, modded,
illuminated, double
radiator, way too many big assed fans, particle accelerator, fusion generator,
micro-wave, nut-cracker, vegetable chopper, cigarette lighter and personal vacuum pump.
