Water Cooling a PC

My processor always seemed to run really hot.

I had a great heat sink and I modded the fan setup.

Still not satisfied, it was time for water cooling.

After all more is better.

My water cooling stuff arrived.

Here is how it came.

Adding some water dropped the temperature to 90 degrees F!!  Then I over-clocked it and it's up to 100.

All told, with some added hardware from the local store $225 or so.

The temperature seems very consistent.

After a game of Quake, it cools back down to 100 f so fast, I could not get out of the game fast enough to catch it.

I had to use the recorder  to catch the temperature rise/fall.

So far, I'm still impressed with the setup as a whole.

I bought most all of this stuff at http://www.cooltechnica.com/

My new stuff is from www.frozencpu.com
