Template
A sub-mini micro switch from Radio Shack these switches are very small
A small green LED already setup for 12 volt applications.

No bezel required, it just bolts in, and it looks clean.

make sure your image program states it's size as 480 x 120.

That 1/2 drill press was a good investment. drill a hole though your hand fool
Soldering stereo wire onto the switches. soldering the micro sitches
Some of the tools used are strippers, small needle nose pliers, soldering iron, 'third-hand', a small jewelers vise.  installing the soldered switches
The bay is packed so tight, the LED's have to go in first LED's first
Switches are bolted in like normal, but are locked in place with some super glue gel. switchs and LED's viewed from the rear
This is wired directly to the 12 volt supply (red & black wires), not to the existing switch found on most lighting systems. cathodes.jpg (107339 bytes)

this switch and it's wires get cut off, then wired shut with a small butt connecter or twist and heat shrink.

It's a good looking mod. switch bay with led's
